The Little Ballerina

Little Ballerina Fabric Design

Little BallerinaI recently had this fabric printed in a Cotton Voile for a customer. I really love the soft texture of this fabric.

I created a new version for my KarenHarveyCox Designs prints.

Then I reworked the design until I thought it would read well on fabric.

And of course there is one with a bit of French Script.  I have it offered on my etsy shop FrenchScript in Cotton Voile and a Quilting Cotton.  It can be ordered in any fabric on my Spoonflower Shop or I can create a custom listing on etsy.

Ballerinas are always such an inspiration.

Audrey Hepburn Inspiration

I love a Vintage runway filled with fashion that are reminiscent of old movies and the glamour.

I designed this Little Black Dress fabric to be a bit of nostalgia. It is one of the designs in my Vintage Runway collection.

An Audrey Hepburn inspiration, bringing back memories of Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Shabby Chic Inspiration

I have been creating a more Shabby Chic look for my guest room.  So, I thought why not design some fabric just for my room.
This is the new fabric.

I call it Shabby Chic Roses in a Pink Garden.

I have had it printed on a Cotton Voile fabric at Spoonflower.

I would like to make some curtains,  I'm thinking that it would look nice over the white dotted swiss curtains.

My sister Lynne makes the most gorgeous pillows.  The pillow shown on my bed is designed by Lynne.

While I was designing, I also created a new business card for French Script Fabrics on etsy.

French Script Fabrics

I have decided to begin a blog about my fabric designs.  Since I started designing fabrics with my artwork and ephemera, I have learned so much.

I continue to learn about fabric, the art of designing and fall more in love with fabric each day.

In this new blog I will post about my designs and tell the story behind each one.  I will also share what I am learning about the world of design in fabric.

I hope that you enjoy stopping by.
